I started surfing when I was 5 years old. In contrast to what many people think, you can actually surf in Dubai. Well it is not Hawaii, but you can learn and easily perfect your skills. On top of this, we have the East Coast that occasionally get some great swell from the deep waters from the Indian Ocean. When that happens we can have a few weeks of great swell.

Because surf is a passion that I also share with my twin brother, Lucas, and our Dad, we have been fortunate to travel to various Surf and SUP surf destinations such as Sri Lanka, The Maldives, France, Spain and Denmark.

But there is no doubt, Stand Up Paddling is my biggest passion. I kickstarted my quest when I was 10. I joined the annual  Around The World  SUP Challenge in Dubai. It is a yearly race of approx. 32 km around the man made islands: The World.

That really gave me the appetize for stand up paddling. 6 months later I did my biggest achievement yet. I stand up paddled from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. A distance of 100 km. But please read more about that by clicking the above section; 100 km challenge.

I SUP every week approx. 25-30 KM. My next big race is this years  SORBONNE STAND UP PADDLEBOARD RACE 2016 (26TH AND 27TH OF FEBRUARY). This year's goal is to finish 1st in the juniors race.
